This one is one of our favorites. Use this Adwords script to add a label to your ads that shows the date they were created. Our ad optimization process is built on some really simple principles. 

1. Write new ads every month
2. Make sure your newest ads always have the highest CTR of any ad all time.
3. If it doesn't, pause it and write a new ad
